EP #152: Failures Are Pebbles

denver_book_me_pic

This week’s episode revisits Episode 34 on how Failure Is a Pebble in the larger vision.

When we look at the grand scheme of the intention we are setting in life, the perceived failures are opportunities that lead us to fine tuning our journey up the mountain. This may sound like a daunting task, but the release of pain and stress is worth the effort.

Listen in here:

Sometimes we get so stuck on focusing on how the failure made us feel emotionally (embarrassed, mad, stupid, loser, etc.). We allow the negative emotions to have more control over the intention than the other way around. We have not developed the muscle to be strong in setbacks.

In the grand picture of life, failures are pebbles that trip us up on our life path. The resistance we build up in life has to do with staring at the pebble for a long time and forgetting about what is ahead of us.

Mountain Visual: Big picture, footing can slip a little, but what happens when we focus on that rock we have slipped on?

What do we need to do at this point? clearing out the past “incompletions.”

Releasing attachment to the pebbles will allow for more room to open up to change, new life patterns, new opportunities, and new perspectives. The weight of those perceived failures will lighten up once we let go.

  • Where would you rather spend your time and energy? The quicker we take our lessons and release attachment, the quicker we can build momentum in life.
  • How have you used past failures as opportunities?
  • What steps do you need to do take to clear the slate and become committed to the intentions you are setting?

This is your time, You are the only one who can make it happen. No MORE excuses.

See you next week as I get into the next juicy topic – stay tuned!
